The dashboard shows a 90-day snapshot of referral data. The exact date range is shown in the data freshness banner at the top of the page. This data is refreshed monthly.

What is "Prior 90 Days"?

The 90-day window immediately before the current period — used for the trend arrow (▲/▼) on the summary card. A negative trend means referral volume has dipped compared to the prior period.

What is Year-over-Year (YoY)?

The same 90-day window from one year ago. The AI uses this to determine whether referral volume is trending up or down vs. the same period last year and writes a one-sentence interpretation.

What do the referral tiers mean?

🟢 Core — 4 or more referrals. Established, reliable referrers worth maintaining and thanking regularly.
🟡 Growing — 2–3 referrals. Trending up and worth nurturing with outreach.
⚪ New — 1 referral. Early signal only — included when the AI considers it noteworthy.

What does "Not Yet Referring (Last 90 Days)" mean on the map?

Dentist offices found within your practice's radius that did not send referrals during the current 90-day window. These could be truly new opportunities or previously active referrers who have gone quiet — check the monthly trend chart to see if they were active in earlier periods.

What are Partnership Opportunities?

Dentists or offices with 1–2 referrals in the period who aren't yet consistent referrers. These are warm leads worth a call or visit to convert into Core referrers over time.

What is "Biggest Opportunity"?

A single sentence from the AI identifying the highest-leverage growth action based on this location's specific referral data. It's meant to focus the team on one thing, not everything.

How often is the AI analysis updated?

The AI analysis is refreshed monthly by the Orthodontic Partners team. The snapshot date is shown in the data freshness banner at the top of the page.

Why does my location show "AI analysis not yet available"?

Either the data hasn't been generated yet for this location, or the location had no referral data in the 90-day window. Contact the OP team if you believe this is an error.
